Pocket Throttle started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other download links at midnight. We got tired of app store lists that all read the same, so we decided to just play the games properly and write down what we found.,Everybody on the team plays on their own phone, on their own commute, in real conditions. One week it's arcade racers, the next it's a slow strategy title someone got obsessed with. We finish enough of each game to have an opinion worth reading, then we argue about the score.,The site stays independent. Nobody pays us to bump a rating, and we don't run sponsored reviews dressed up as editorial. When we like something, it's because it earned the play time.
